Two fishing poles, a dock and a couple of light-weight stools are available for all guests. Catch and release and enjoy the serenity. A fire pit with zero gravity chairs is nestled next to the pond, and near the cabin for your s'mores and story-telling campfire adventure. We provide a complimentary start of firewood (5-6 logs) for every reservation. Need more? Available on site for $5 a bundle of 5 logs. Interested in grilling? The “secret room” is an attic room and is accessed through a bookshelf door that does not have a handle on it. It is not overly difficult to open (simply pull on the right side of the door) but is a more narrow opening than most doors. On the "room" side it is easily pushed open. It may be hard for very little kids to open so we do not recommend children under the age of 5 staying in the room by themselves. The downstairs bedrooms each have an en-suite bathroom and are all accessed from the main living area. There are two steps to get into the house and one more step from the sun room into the main living area and bedrooms. Being surrounded by nature, at times ‘nature’ gets into the house. We do our best to keep pests out of the house but it is their environment that we have invaded.
