This Cozy Wooden Tiny House Feels Like a Dream Cabin Retreat Location: Salt Spring Island, Canada Size: 2 guests, 2 bedrooms, 2 beds, 1 bath The space Tiny Haven is a 330 sq ft custom-built tiny house for up to 2 guests. We lovingly built this home ourselves with a focus on using reclaimed and natural materials, and with its large and ample windows and warm wood tones, there is a sense of the surrounding natural world being invited inside. Breath in the scent of cedar as you enter and allow this warm and cozy little A-frame to lure you into relaxation. The home boasts many unique features, including a kneeling-height sleeping loft with queen bed, accessible by a sturdy wooden ladder. The second bedroom has a comfortable couch that folds out into a double bed, a sleeping alternative for those who may have difficulty with the loft ladder. It also functions as a cozy movie room, with a wall-mount flat screen T.V., and has its own outside entrance and attached deck. The front of the house features a large covered deck and private fenced area, a perfect space to relax, have a barbecue and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this quiet neighbourhood. Venture to nearby farm stands and enjoy preparing your meals in the well-appointed kitchen, complete with a gas stovetop and oven. The bathroom is equipped with a eco-sensitive and user-friendly Separett composting toilet. The house feels surprisingly spacious inside, but please note, the hallways, interior doorways, and shower are slightly more narrow than standard and the kitchen ceiling height is 6'3" at the lowest point. Tall, broad-shouldered folks may need to dip and sway occasionally!
